I think this started sometime yesterday, but a chat button saying that a representative is online has started appearing on the login screen. Since I’m not a Black member, I was under the impression that I don’t have a designated representative, but will someone from the branch I’m registered with answer? Since it appears on the screen before logging in, does that mean someone who specializes in chat will respond?

I’ll answer too—this is Maezawa from the president’s office. Since it’s on the login screen, meaning anyone can view it, it isn’t intended for members’ personal representatives. (Things may be different after logging in, though.) So it’s essentially the same as the chat feature on the official website. It might be a little hard to understand if you haven’t looked at the official site. I think many ordinary companies have something similar set up. It’s the kind of thing that says, “If you have any questions, feel free to ask us via chat.” > So is it mainly for asking general questions? Yes, that’s basically how it works. Even if someone asks about a particular woman, we have no way of knowing whether they’re a member. (We do have various ways of checking, so it’s not impossible to tell, though.) The basic idea is that this is a place where the general public can ask questions, so even if someone asks about a woman, we can’t provide information to anyone who isn’t a member. And even if they claim to be a member, we can’t verify that they’re actually the person they say they are. So I imagine the response would be to ask them to contact us using the phone number they normally use. (I’m not sure what the actual operating rules are, though.)

I’m Kazu, a male member. Since this is the screen shown before logging in, I assumed it meant you could contact someone about login problems. In this case, “the person in charge” wouldn’t be someone assigned to the person asking the question, since they haven’t logged in yet—it would mean the staff member who handles inquiries submitted from here.
