I’d love to receive an expensive present on Christmas Day, but I’d also like an advent calendar to enjoy in the days leading up to Christmas.
Whether it’s a cosmetics advent calendar or a sweets advent calendar, I’d be happy with anything.
Have you ever had a papa (a male supporter) thoughtful enough to do something like that?
Do I have to ask directly if I want him to buy me one?

Personally, I don’t like advent calendars because they often contain things I don’t need, which just creates waste. So I never considered spending money on one.
If a good girl seemed to want one but didn’t ask for it, I might give her an advent calendar as a gift—even though I’m not a fan of them.

I’m at the level of not even knowing what an advent calendar is.
I searched for them on Rakuten, and they don’t seem to cost that much, so why not have the woman give one to the man as a present?
Rather than directly saying you want a Christmas present, it might serve as a subtle hint that you’d like one from him.
Though I could be wrong.
As I’ve written before, “giving is receiving.”
I think the key is not to always be thinking about what you can get.

It starts getting seriously cold around Thanksgiving, and at the same time, you can feel the Advent atmosphere setting in. It’s such a lovely time of year.
That said, unless someone attended a fairly devout Christian school from at least middle school onward, I don’t think Advent will mean much to them. Or they may have grown up abroad.
Women probably know about Advent these days even if they didn’t attend a Christian school, thanks to all the commercial promotion around it.
Still, I think fewer people will understand it than Halloween.
So don’t get your hopes up.

I don’t think there are many papas (male supporters) who would share your excitement over an Advent calendar, so if you want one, you should make a proper pitch for it.
I thought Dior’s Advent calendar looked lovely, but I quietly closed the page when I saw the price.
