Since they’re pajamas, you might be able to get them bought for you if you’re in a relationship where you live in an apartment your papa rents for you and you’re intimate there.
Otherwise, there’s no point if he can’t actually see you wearing them.

If it’s something like pajamas or a costume, I think it’s fine to ask him to buy you something you like.
Sometimes, I’m actually happier when she tells me what she wants.
You could simply say something like, “Let’s go take a look,” or “There’s somewhere I’d like to check out,” while you’re together.
I don’t think it’s much different from going out for a nice meal or getting dessert.

I think it’s perfectly fine to just talk about that kind of thing openly, isn’t it? If that’s not okay, then you’re probably just not compatible personality-wise.
“Not worth buying with my own money, but it would definitely suit me” is hilarious. He clearly knows how to spend money on unnecessary things. I Googled it, and it’s not even that expensive, so I think this is totally fine.
Some guys might turn it into a three-piece set, including cow-print pajamas and a Pikachu costume, but please forgive that as just a foolish man getting carried away (enka-style).

Being directly asked to buy something is a turnoff, but if you say something like, “I want this, so I’m thinking of buying it next time,” they may occasionally buy it for you.
So when you’re hinting that you want something, don’t say, “Buy it for me.” It’s better to make it sound like you’re planning to buy it yourself.
If your papa (a male supporter) still doesn’t buy it, he may either be oblivious or thinking, “I already give you plenty of allowance, so buy it yourself.” Probably something along those lines.
