Regarding the day-before confirmation for a recent offer, why did it come by email instead of LINE…?

Maezawa from the CEO’s office here. It’s because our internal system can’t control LINE. It can control email, so I believe that’s why we were able to automate it. It seems like using LINE’s API would solve the problem, but I vaguely remember there being some issue with that before. What was it again… The first things that come to mind are that messages might be marked as read as soon as the system accesses the API, even if no one has actually seen them, or that messages might only be readable through the API. (There were also cases where a woman said she had sent a LINE message, but it never arrived. We only found out after having her send us a screenshot.) There may have been some minor issues like that. Since we’ve stopped reading LINE messages through the API, it now seems difficult to have the system do anything with LINE.
