Thanks for your question.
I’m not entirely sure what the benefit would be of carrying over someone’s offer history, but for example, if a man asked, when making a first offer to someone registered with Universe, “How many offers has she received in the past?”—
I don’t think we’d be able to tell him the exact number.
If we were to answer, it would probably be:
“She hasn’t received any offers yet.”
In other words, we would only be referring to the number of offers she has received through Universe.
(Though, technically, we can’t disclose the number of offers.)
That said, even though they say they can’t disclose the number, it seems they do answer in some cases—for example, saying, “She has zero offers, but telling her that could actually lead to an offer, so it’s okay.”
Apparently, each branch—and now each team—has its own unofficial rules, such as, “As long as you don’t give a specific number, it’s okay to say whether she’s received a lot or only a few.”
