From a statistical standpoint, if women with Black, Platinum, Gold, and Standard memberships all registered as Type B on the same day and at the same time, roughly how many offers would they receive within a week?

A rather interesting blog post had just been published, so I used it as the basis for some calculations: https://universe-club.jp/staffblog/58082/ By dividing the percentage of dates by the percentage of women in each class, you can calculate an expected date-frequency coefficient for each class: Black: 2.86 Platinum: 2.21 Gold: 0.84 Standard: 0.28 These are only coefficients, so calculating the average number of dates per woman would require several other figures. I considered adding more data and trying to get closer to actual numbers, but no matter how far I took it, it would still be an estimate that couldn’t be checked against the correct answer. It also became too much of a hassle, so I’ll stop here. Personally, I had assumed Platinum women would have the most dates, so I was surprised that Black women came out on top. I wonder if Black male members make a lot of offers. These figures aren’t suitable for making predictions. The classes are all lumped together, and these are merely rough coefficients, so they’re in no way reliable enough for that. Some time ago, there was a discussion somewhere about whether Black women receive fewer offers because there are fewer Black male members. I was simply curious and decided to run the numbers. Even for discussing that possibility, these figures don’t represent the number of offers each individual woman received while she was a member, so they aren’t sufficient evidence. And even if we calculated using the number of offers each woman received during her membership, it would still only be an average and therefore couldn’t be used for predictions. It might be useful for speculation, though（笑）.

Maezawa from the CEO’s office here. Thanks for your question. Since the information is so vague, coming up with actual numbers would require psychic powers. That said, if we assume the same woman is registered in each class, including Black, my baseless guess for the number of offers during the first two weeks would be roughly: Black: 2 Platinum: 15 Gold: 30 Standard: 15 The reason Standard gets fewer offers than Gold is that a certain number of male members don’t view Standard profiles. Gold seems likely to get the most because everyone checks it for Lucky Gold opportunities. Black gets fewer offers because there are fewer male members in that category. That’s the general idea, but there’s no real basis for these figures—it’s just a rough guess.

I’m in Seattle, so this is just a gut feeling. Black: 30% — There are only so many men, too. Platinum: 50% Gold: 40% Standard: 20%

I’m a male member, Paper Airplane. At the Platinum and Gold levels, some women may receive 10–20 or more offers once they become popular, but at the Black and Standard levels, even a fraction of that may be difficult to achieve. B-type is quite popular with male members, so if you’re deciding between B and C, I don’t think you need to worry about getting offers even if you register as B-type.
