Even when someone who has left the club appears, can they match the story to a face and think, “They seem to be having fun” or “They look happy”? If so, I imagine the staff’s job must be pretty enjoyable.

Maezawa from the president’s office here—I’ll answer this one as well. Thank you for your question. We can share internally who the columnist is. However, I believe the people mentioned in the column were written about in a way that makes them difficult to identify, so whether you can determine who the woman is would depend on how much identifying information the article contains. Also, ultimately, if the person who wrote it says, “I wasn’t talking about her,” you would have no choice but to accept that—even if they actually were writing about her. In the first place, it seems like identifying her would take more effort than it’s worth, so I think it’s best to assume that she generally cannot be identified. You can probably get an idea of how many women there are from the total number of female members or their membership numbers. But investigating that sounds like a hassle, and unless the writer provides testimony, it would be impossible to identify her.

When applying to become an anonymous Q&A respondent or column writer, I assume there would be some verification and coordination with the branch where I’m registered, so certain people at that branch—and some of those involved with the anonymous Q&A and columns—would naturally know who I am and where I’m based.
