It’s important for us to know whether someone previously canceled at the last minute or was forcibly removed, so we keep records—within the limits of personal-information regulations—that allow us to identify people who reapply.
Because of that, even if you say it’s your first time, a warning will appear during registration if certain details match, so we’ll know.
However, it’s possible that those details happen to differ from before, so why not try saying, “This is my first time”?
If a staff member says, “We checked, and it looks like you’ve registered with us before,” you could respond with something like:
“Oh? I thought I’d registered with a different club before, but it was Universe? I must have misunderstood.”
Or:
“I have registered with a dating club in Ebisu before, but this is Shinjuku, right? Was it the same place?”
If you act as though you didn’t know yourself, they may simply assume you’ve registered with so many clubs that you lost track. (笑)
