I posted questions last night and this morning, but they haven’t been posted. Why is that?

This is Maezawa from the president’s office. My apologies. I have a two-day weekend, so when I go out on my days off, I sometimes don’t have time to check this site. This year, Universe generously gave all employees an extra nine days off for the New Year holidays, in addition to the regular weekends and public holidays (with the same pay as usual). I’ve also been using up those days recently. When work is busy during the day, I can’t find time to check the question box, so I’ve been looking at it after finishing work at night. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. I noticed that there were two identical questions that appear to be from the same person. The second one remains hidden since it was a duplicate. Thank you for your understanding.

I’m Kazu, a male member. As it says on the page for submitting questions, “Questions are not posted immediately.” That’s because they aren’t published in real time. The anonymous Q&A box works as follows: 1. Once a question is submitted, it appears on the screens used by the volunteer answerers and the staff. 2. A volunteer answerer reads the question and responds if they feel like it. 3. A staff member from the club reviews the content and publishes it. Step 3 is handled in between the staff member’s regular duties—or you could say it’s basically volunteer work—so the timing varies. There’s also only one staff member in charge of it. So, if you submit a question just before the staff member checks the queue, it may be posted in under an hour. If you submit it just after they’ve checked it, publication may take anywhere from half a day to one or two days. Now that I think about it, that’s about the same amount of time it takes to get a reply from a woman after making an offer.

I’m in Seattle. I assume the person at Universe Club handling the approval has two days off a week. It doesn’t show “Please wait a little longer,” does it?
