If your expectations don’t match, I assume you normally wouldn’t move forward with an adult relationship, so I’m not quite sure what you mean by the question.
Whether you receive a higher allowance or agree to lower it, I don’t think the number of times you meet would change.

I don’t think lowering your allowance would necessarily lead to meeting more often. If you want to see him more frequently, I think the best approach is to ask him directly, “I’d like to see you more often. What can I do?”
