If I give negative feedback in the post-date survey, could the staff get a somewhat negative impression of me and stop recommending me, regardless of who was responsible for the bad date?

Maezawa from the Corporate Planning Office here as well. Giving negative feedback won’t make us view you unfavorably. If it did, no one would give us feedback anymore. That said, there is one thing to keep in mind. Some staff members may label a woman as a complainer if she voices her grievances too strongly. To avoid that, I recommend limiting negative feedback to the facts. If a staff member calls you a complainer even though you only stated the facts, then that staff member is clearly in the wrong. However, comments like: “I had a bad experience with this person, so please ban them,” or “I went through so much trouble, so please explain things more clearly to the men beforehand.” wouldn’t be considered complaining by most staff. But if some staff member does label you a complainer, it may be difficult for other staff to overturn that impression. So as long as you stick to the facts, there’s absolutely no problem. Please feel free to keep sending us your feedback.

East Customer Loyalty Group Aizawa from Tokyo here. The way you communicate the situation can work against you if you come across as overly emotional. For example: “Something like this happened. What should I do?” “I realize there may have been things I could have done better, but this is what happened.” If you explain it that way, I don’t think there will be any problem. However, if you say things like: “This was done to me—does the club just let men like that get away with it?!” “He’s a criminal!! Make him leave the club immediately!!” and let your emotions take over, even if the man is clearly at fault, people may get the impression that you’re emotionally volatile, which could reduce the number of men we can recommend to you. On the other hand, when someone explains things calmly, as in the examples above, their evaluation may actually improve. People may think, “After going through something like that, she’s still able to communicate so politely.” I understand that having an unpleasant experience can leave you feeling sad and emotional. But especially at times like that, I hope you’ll take a moment to calm down so you can maintain and enhance your own value.
