Even when a questioner selects the people they want answers from, I often see others comment, “I’m not one of the people you requested an answer from,” and then answer anyway. Shouldn’t they respect the questioner’s wishes and refrain from answering? What do you think?

Maezawa here. If that’s the questioner’s own opinion, then you’re absolutely right. But if it isn’t, I’m wondering whether there’s really any need to go that far. Are you the questioner herself? I started writing this because the question made me want to say something. If it is the questioner’s own opinion, then perhaps people other than those she specifically asked to respond should hold back. But if it isn’t… I’m not sure what to do. Trying to accommodate someone or read the room can sometimes lead things in a direction that has nothing to do with the person’s own wishes.
