If they did something like that, they’d risk exposing the fact that they’re doing papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), so I don’t think they’d say anything—or could say anything. They might quietly ask the person directly, “You’re doing it, right?” but…

Where would it even be posted? It might appear on an online message board unrelated to dating clubs, but most people wouldn’t go that far. If it’s a nightlife customer, they probably wouldn’t post anything; at most, if you’re registered with a dating club, they might ask how much allowance you’d require to see them. The person who would post about you would probably be someone you had a serious dispute with. But rather than actually making a man angry enough to do that, I think it’s far more common for someone in the same line of work to post it out of spite or just for fun. And even if it were posted on an online message board, it would probably be something like, “○○’s ○○-chan is registered with a dating club,” which is about as informative as saying, “○○’s ○○-chan is obsessed with hosts.” I don’t think you need to worry that much about being identified. If anything, this is less a risk of dating clubs and more a risk associated with working in the nightlife industry. A customer you’ve been stringing along without going further might get angry, but that would count as someone you had a dispute with. So again, it’s more reasonable to think of it as a risk of working in nightlife.
