I’m a PJ being sued for damages. They’ve attached evidence of me shopping and going out to eat with my papa, so it looks like I won’t be able to deny that I provided intimate services. I do have a boyfriend, but I can’t exactly ask him to lend me money. I briefly considered looking for another papa, but this experience has scared me.

The questioner starts by saying, “If any other PJ has had an experience like this, please give me some advice.” Then, after reading a reply to a previous question along the lines of “I’m a PJ too,” they posted that follow-up question pretending to be worried that they “couldn’t get away by claiming they were only providing sexual services,” right? That basic attitude is wrong. A PJ’s biggest enemy is another PJ. Besides, there’s absolutely no guarantee that the person who asked the previous question was really a PJ in the first place. They could have been a fake woman posing online, scouting women and sending them to clubs. Someone like that would loudly insist, “There’s nothing dangerous about it!” You’re being far too naïve. You may think it’s too late now or that you don’t want to hear this, but unless you correct that mindset, you’ll make another bad decision about your life. In the end, it’s up to the questioner to decide whose claims are true and whose information is actually valuable. But if you’re making your decision simply because “they’re the same PJ (or pretending to be),” then you’re just an idiot.

Is there any evidence attached showing that you went to a hotel? If the only evidence they’ve submitted is of you eating together or shopping, I don’t think you need to panic just yet. At the very least, your relationship with your papa wasn’t an affair or a relationship intended to break up his family, was it? The fact that you’re calling a free legal consultation suggests that you don’t have a lawyer you can consult right away, or someone reliable who can introduce you to one. In that case, if you have a complete grasp of all the evidence that could be effective in a case like this, it’s possible to represent yourself in court without a lawyer. I don’t think that would necessarily change the outcome. The decision will likely be based on the documents and evidence you’re able to submit. If you respond sincerely, the judge will guide you kindly and clearly, including by helping you understand what evidence is needed. You’ll be responsible for looking for the evidence yourself, but I don’t think that should be too difficult. You simply need to submit at the next hearing, usually one or two months later, whatever the judge asks you to find. Your papa is also at fault, so you weren’t solely to blame. If anything, you may also be considered a victim. Whether your papa’s marriage had already effectively ended, and what kind of relationship he had with his wife, may also affect the issues being contested. If this wasn’t an affair, I don’t think you need to become that distressed.
