The other day, I went on a first date (first meeting). The woman’s dating type is B, so we were planning to part ways after a two-hour meal. However, we happened to find out that we were taking trains in the same direction for part of the journey. It meant we would be on the same train for an additional 20–30 minutes after the meal. Keeping in mind that this was our first meeting, would it generally be less tiring for the woman if I made up some excuse—like saying I needed to use the restroom—and boarded a different train? Otherwise, it might feel like I was keeping her for more than two and a half hours between the meal and the train ride. I’d appreciate hearing what others usually do, or what they would prefer in this situation. For reference, this time we sat together on the train, and we were able to arrange the date for our next meeting during the ride, so in the end, it worked out well for me…
