The weak yen may be one reason, but it seems that more women are going overseas for papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan). The relationship style appears to be different from the arrangements at this club, but I don’t think ¥2 million for spending two weeks living together is overpriced. Of course, it seems they’re both free to do as they please during the day. Many of the women registered with Universe are socially well-adjusted and sensible. Traveling for two weeks with someone you’ve only just met is quite unusual. A hostess has told me about papa-katsu opportunities overseas, so I think I’ll give it a try. This wasn’t really a question, so I’ll leave it at that. You can be considerate toward the woman and give her a reasonable amount of money, but everyone is different. Personally, I’ve grown tired of it.
