What’s the intention behind papas who smirk and ask, “How old were you when you stopped taking baths with your father?”

I’m a woman who sees several regular papas. Most of them are around 60, so they’re about the same age as my father, or slightly older. I don’t particularly mind them being older, but they often ask how old my father is. When it comes up that he’s around the same age as them or younger, many of them then ask, while we’re bathing together, “Hey, how old were you when you stopped taking baths with your dad?” with a smirk. I find it extremely creepy. Since it makes me uncomfortable, I usually brush it off by saying, “Um... I wasn’t taking baths with him by the time I was old enough to remember...” But when I ask the men themselves why they ask, I get awful answers like, “If I took baths with my daughter, something might happen,” or, “If I had a daughter, I would’ve wanted to take baths with her and fool around.” They don’t seem to realize that questions like this are unpleasant. When I show that I’m uncomfortable, they either look genuinely surprised and say, “What? I didn’t know you disliked it!” or become dejected. I don’t really understand what they mean by it, so could someone please explain?
