Regardless of gender, do people who work—or are forced to work—in the adult entertainment industry, or who are rejected when trying to find regular employment and have no choice but to work only at gaming establishments or adult entertainment venues, have circumstances beyond just financial need?

Thank you for your question. Maezawa here. If someone is “rejected even when trying to work for an ordinary company,” it’s only natural to assume there must be some underlying reason. People with no particular issues are not rejected by ordinary companies. If you look at it that way, the answer to this question is already contained within the question itself. It seems to me that the questioner is asking about something they have already answered for themselves. You also seem to assume that anyone can work at an adult entertainment establishment. However, women, for example, apparently have to go through interviews, and as you often hear people say things like “spec: ___,” whether they pass or fail can depend on their appearance and other personal attributes. So I don’t understand why you think you could work in adult entertainment even after being rejected by an ordinary company. Besides, most adult entertainment businesses are probably operated by corporations, so in that sense they are ordinary companies too. Why ask a question here that discriminates against adult entertainment work? I find that way of thinking unfortunate. It also seems like a disrespectful question toward people who work at amusement venues. “Master, I’m truly glad.” “Why is that?” “Because you treat me like a human being, just like everyone else.” “Like everyone else? You are a human being, aren’t you? You, me, and even this old man…”
