I’ve noticed a few times that a question shows “2 answers,” but only one answer is actually visible. Was the other answer deleted?

Maezawa here. “We’ve been instructed by the production department to manage whether members’ answers are displayed, so please leave members’ answers as they are.” Because of this, the answer count increases as soon as an answer is submitted, but the answer may remain hidden until someone in the production department changes its display setting. When I notice it, I switch it to visible, but if I haven’t checked older questions, some answers may remain hidden. There are two issues: the production department is off on weekends and public holidays, so answers are more likely to remain hidden during those times, and because there’s no list of hidden answers, replies to older questions may be overlooked. I’ll do my best to prevent this, but could you please understand that answers may occasionally remain hidden immediately after being posted? That said, this is the kind of situation creators often brush off by calling it a “specification,” but I believe it’s actually a bug. If there’s only one visible answer but two answers internally—one of them hidden—there’s no way the answer count should be displayed as two. That shouldn’t be considered a specification. Still, developers are reluctant to simply say, “It’s a bug”...
