Even if people here say it’s okay, you could still be rejected depending on how you conduct yourself during the actual interview. By the way, whether you’re registering for the first time or re-registering, asking politely is simply the bare minimum expected of an adult. I’m just a little curious what, specifically, you mean by “taking a hard look at yourself.”

Whether you can register again probably depends on whether you received any offers when you first registered. If you didn’t receive a single offer, I think it may be difficult to register again. If you received three or more offers, you should probably be fine. The question is what happens if you received one or two offers. In that case, since you did receive offers, you’ll probably be okay, but there’s still a chance they may reject you. That said, there’s no way to know for sure without actually applying to register again, so I think you should simply submit a new application. I’m not sure what you mean by “quitting for selfish reasons,” but wanting to leave and then leaving is perfectly normal. Unless you quit after complaining to the Universe staff or stopped responding even though you had a date scheduled, you’re free to withdraw whenever you want, so I think you can feel reassured.

If you didn’t leave or get banned because you caused problems, I think it should be possible. By the way, former members aren’t inexperienced, are they?
