Three years ago, I used to make offers on A quite often, mostly just to pass the time. Some people are genuinely fun to talk to.
I’ve gotten bored with it lately, so I don’t make offers anymore.
There’s one woman I originally met on A who still travels with me for dinner-only trips, even though she lives far away.

A-types are actually the most calculating of all. They’re the most money-minded, completely swayed by cash, and utterly shameless about accepting allowance—as if there’s no limit… Ah, terrifying… I need to get out of here, fast…
The hidden A-types almost seem sweet and endearing by comparison.
Men get drawn in as if they’ve been put under an A-type’s spell… They end up interpreting everything as “that’s just how A-types are”…

Just like paid social drinking, hostess clubs, or upscale clubs, I think it means they’re not assuming an adult relationship (intimate) and aren’t necessarily looking to date.
Some people are more motivated to overcome something the higher the barrier is. Everyone’s different.
Personally, I prefer a low barrier, so I only accept C offers, though...

I think there are two types of “A-type” women.
Some choose A-type because they dislike being propositioned every time, but might become more intimate with someone they genuinely like.
Others truly only want to meet for tea or dinner.
The former tend to receive quite a few offers, and I’ve made offers to women like that myself. (What you might call “A-type leaning toward B.”)
The latter hardly receive any offers, even when they’re very attractive. (Pure, classic A-type.)
Sometimes I think they could easily be listed in a higher tier looks-wise, but I suppose that’s the staff’s judgment.
