I have an interview coming up soon. Are the photos shown in the women’s listings on the male members’ site close-ups of their faces, or does it vary from person to person? I’m really unsure about what to wear and how to do my makeup.

Basically, most people don’t take close-up photos of your face. At most, they’ll take a bust shot, though even those seem fairly uncommon. I feel like photos showing the upper body—roughly from the waist up—are more common. That said, they usually take quite a few photos in various poses, including full-body shots, since they typically post six photos. Then they choose six from the set. The staff generally make the selections, so you usually can’t request specific photos. However, some staff members are accommodating and may let you choose. You could casually ask something like: “Would it be possible for me to choose the photos? If not, that’s totally fine.” Just keep in mind that about 90% of staff members will probably say no, so it’s best to ask with no expectations. When I was doing it, if a woman wanted to choose her photos, I would show her all the pictures we had taken and post the ones she selected. Good luck with your interview!
