if I allow them to be made public, will they be displayed as-is on the woman’s profile, which other men can also view?

No way, lol.
Isn’t it mainly used to attract people who haven’t joined yet? So if you had an enjoyable experience, it’s best to write and submit your candid thoughts while you’re still excited about it. That makes people think, “This place looks promising,” and encourages lots of male members to join.
On the other hand, the star ratings are tallied and displayed on the women’s profile pages. The rating history is visible too, so you can see cases where a woman’s rating climbed as high as five stars, only to later drop to three. There’s something oddly fascinating about it all.
