She obviously couldn’t say, “I don’t want to be with you,” so giving a gentle excuse is the usual approach. Of course, compatibility may have been the issue, so it’s possible you did nothing wrong at all. Still, it might be worth reflecting on what, if anything, didn’t go well. You should also think about what you can do differently so you won’t be turned down by the next woman.

(I’ve never had anyone say she was too nervous and wanted to meet next time…) - With Woman B, she got her period on our second date.
