Apparently, men are spending longer in the restroom these days too, since they sit in private stalls and look at their phones.

After reading Mac’s answer, I found myself thinking, “Yeah, that happens all the time.”
Even when a man starts lecturing you or complaining, making the meal unbearable, if you suddenly leave, the club may contact you saying, “Why did you leave halfway through? The man says you left on your own.”
So sometimes women message, “Is it okay if I leave now?”
I actually think a woman who gets the club’s approval before leaving is very responsible.
That said, I don’t understand why a man would lecture a woman during what’s supposed to be a meal in the first place. It’s obvious that the man is the one behaving strangely.
Still, these situations can be difficult.
And if you don’t contact the club but instead keep telling yourself, “Just endure it, just endure it,” that’s really heartbreaking.
There are plenty of good men out there, so I hope you’ll look forward to the next one.

Mac’s answer reminded me of something, so I thought I’d share it.

I hear this occasionally too. I’ve even heard of a case where, after she stepped away from the table, the man complained to the branch office that she was taking too long in the restroom. It was so intense that all I did that day was listen to the woman vent and talk through her concerns.
