I’ve heard that Universe receives around 10,000 offers a year, and that there are about 8,000 registered women. So, if you simply divide the numbers, does that mean each woman gets only about one offer at most?

We currently have around 8,000 women registered, but the total number of women who have ever registered with us exceeds 34,000. That’s because some people join while others leave.
That said, this is beside the point.
As you said, the average works out to about one offer per person.
However, around half of the women receive no offers at all, while some receive more than ten, so I don’t think the average is very meaningful.

On the pricing strategy for the Black tier at dating clubs. Unless a woman is exceptionally outstanding, wouldn’t registering her as Black actually work against her interests? Wouldn’t it be better to register women as Platinum by default, then promote them to Black if offers start pouring in? There are far too many Black profiles right now that make me scratch my head.

I think promoting someone to Black when they start receiving a flood of offers is a good idea.
But the problem is when someone who should originally be Black is registered as Platinum, causing offers to pour in.
Why is that bad? When women are inundated with offers, they often end up quitting.
In the worst case, after only about the third offer, they might simply leave a message saying, “I can’t make it today after all,” and then disappear without responding…

In the Standard class, 13,017 women have registered with us to date, including those who have since left, and there have been 2,253 dates.
That works out to 17.3%.

So I don’t think anyone would be refused membership simply because they’re older, and I haven’t heard of anyone being turned away for that reason in the past.
I wondered what age is considered “elderly,” so I looked it up. Apparently, a 1956 United Nations report defined it as “65 and older.”
So it seems people aged 65 and up are considered elderly.
