A lot of men are drawn to women who seem ordinary and down-to-earth, so glamorous beauties may actually be at a disadvantage.
Personally, I’m attracted to calm, composed women. That doesn’t mean I think they have to be quiet or timid.

I’m not quite sure what you mean by a glamorous beauty, but if you’re beautiful, I think it would be difficult to make yourself look otherwise—though makeup might help to some extent.
If you’re beautiful, I think it’s perfectly fine to stay that way.
As for whether it’s better to be glamorous or demure, if your level of attractiveness stays the same, it ultimately comes down to the man’s personal preference.
That said, just my impression, but if two women are equally beautiful, I feel the more demure one would probably be better received by men.
