A girl who usually sends very plain LINE messages and barely uses emojis sent me a heart for the first time. Do you think her feelings might have changed? She doesn’t seem like the type to use heart emojis regularly, so I’m curious.

I’m Aya, a female member. I think it means you should provide a little extra service. I do it occasionally too.

Isn’t it better to assume you’re imagining things and then find out you weren’t, rather than get carried away thinking it’s a good sign and later discover it wasn’t? Marika

I’ll answer as Maezawa from the CEO’s office as well. There’s really no point in asking something like that here, is there? I think it’s best to assume that she must have had some kind of change of heart. You don’t even know what kind of person the person asking the question is, let alone the other person involved. Whether she actually had a change of heart is nothing more than speculation. And what would you do with the answer? If she did have a change of heart, would you increase her allowance? You wouldn’t, right? Maybe she did it because she heard that adding a heart emoji would increase the allowance by ¥10,000. If so, that would technically be a change of heart, wouldn’t it? (Though I’m sure that’s not what the questioner had in mind.) Rather than asking questions that have no real point, I think it’s better to continue the relationship while making your own assumptions about what things might mean.

I’m Kazu, a male member. It may be a change in how she feels, but it could also be nothing more than her thinking, “I’ll add a heart emoji once in a while as a little extra.” I don’t think it’s good to get too excited or discouraged over small things.
