If he can afford to pay well, why doesn’t he do anything about the odor or make an effort? There are plenty of ways to deal with it.

Once you’ve gotten to know each other fairly well, I think it’d be okay to bring it up.
Just avoid saying something like, “You stink, you bald guy.” A gentler way of putting it would be better.
My father had a really bad case of athlete’s foot, but I never noticed any odor from it.
His poop, though, smelled unbelievably awful. Looking back, it’s a strangely nostalgic trauma.

I think anyone would be bothered if they were told that. You’d probably be concerned too if someone told you that your [〇〇] smelled, right?
I’ve heard that athlete’s foot can sometimes cause an odor. Since it’s a fungal infection, I believe it’s related to Candida.
