I’m Aya, a female member.
My fit, hands-on dad’s son is still a toddler. I’m not all that interested, but he must be pretty smart. I love dads who are devoted to their kids.
My handsome older papa also has a daughter, but she’s way younger than me, so it doesn’t bother me.
I’ve made it clear that I’d be totally turned off if he were going after girls in their teens, you know?? That would seriously be creepy.

I’m in Seattle.
I have a daughter around the same age. When the genes are different, it really doesn’t bother me at all.

I didn’t feel like answering because the question was unbelievably boring and seemed to be nothing more than the asker’s own assumption. But after being worn down by their persistence—their fourth post since this morning—I’ll give it a shot.
Most likely, it just happens that several people around the asker have had boys in succession. I’ve seen several questions from male members who have daughters around the same age as their dating partners.
Besides, they’re not newborns. Surely a person can tell the difference between their own child and someone else’s. In other words, I don’t think it would remind them of their own child at all.
That said, I’m not saying men like that don’t exist. There may be some.
