I’m in my mid-30s and platinum tier, and I live outside Tokyo, about a two-hour bullet train ride away.
Would it be difficult to pass the screening unless I’m in the black tier?
I’d appreciate it if you could tell me whatever you can about THE SALON’s screening criteria.

Some applicants don’t pass the screening even if their looks are top-tier, and vice versa. We can’t share specific acceptance criteria, but the key consideration is whether we feel we could introduce you to one of the men registered with THE SALON.
We also offer online interviews and, on a limited basis, online introductions. We would be delighted if you could come in for an interview.

The salon says it has the strictest screening process in Japan, but it seems you have to be perfect in every way.
To the person asking the question: I’m not sure about someone who would ask something like this here. You can find the answer by searching.

The screening criteria are listed here.
Even if you don’t have a “Black”-class appearance, you may still pass the screening. However, even if you’re accepted, unless a match at the salon—a first meeting with a man—is arranged (meaning both sides agree that they’d like to go out), you could spend two hours traveling to Tokyo only to go home empty-handed.
By the way, I’m mentioning this because it’s customary to ask: how did you find out what my class is?
