Are these figures really still accurate today?
It says office workers make up only 8% of the total, but aren’t there more than that?

Strictly speaking, company executives are also salaried employees, so executives plus regular employees account for 34%. If we group everyone employed by a company together, that’s about three to four out of every ten people.
Also, could it be that you’re active on papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) apps as well? Since people can still participate on app-based platforms even with much lower annual incomes, I imagine the proportion of salaried employees would be higher.

If the figure that 84% earn over ¥10 million is accurate, then I’d say that sounds about right.
