When I look through the men’s profiles, some have staff comments and others don’t.
Is it safe to assume that the men with comments simply have better ratings from the staff?
Also, female members’ profiles can have comments or not as well—do male members pay attention to whether a woman has one?

The comments in a man’s profile are usually written by the man himself, but in rare cases, staff write them instead.
I’ve always wondered about that, and it seems they do so simply because the man didn’t write anything himself, regardless of his rating.
I assume it means he didn’t write a profile in the first place, but I’m not entirely sure.
It’s not because he has a good rating, so I don’t think you should read too much into it.

I personally place a lot of importance on the staff comments for women, so I assume women do the same when viewing men’s profiles.
It doesn’t necessarily mean the man has an especially good rating—just that he’s probably a male member with some distinctive qualities.
If there’s nothing written, I guess he’s the kind of member the staff have nothing to say about… lol

All male members have a very brief comment from their interview, right? Whether there’s anything beyond that seems to depend simply on whether there was feedback about the man that they felt was worth adding as a comment.
Comments based on feedback aren’t usually included in women’s profiles either. I do occasionally see women who have them, but generally, Platinum-level members and above may be told more if they inquire.
Comments from women’s interviews are included for everyone. These contain various details to help men decide whether to make an offer.

All female members have staff comments, and I think many men place importance on them.
I’ve never seen staff comments for male members, so I can’t say.
Please judge based on the content of the comments. (I assume they’re probably written when there’s feedback, so I imagine there are both positive and negative ones.)
