Looking back, there were quite a few cases where someone already showed as “Withdrawn” within a few hours of sending me “You’re lovely,” so I may have finally solved part of the mystery. As for your question in the second half, maybe Dai’s profile was updated when he changed his membership to Gold, which caused it to appear at the top. One day, my profile suddenly started getting a lot more views and “You’re lovely” messages, and I was really surprised. The girl I’m currently seeing told me that whenever a profile is updated, male members also get bumped to the top of the listings. Come to think of it, over half of the “You seem wonderful” reactions are from Gold members. Maybe more Gold-member women have started viewing my profile. I had assumed women wouldn’t pay any attention to Gold-member men… By the way, I was really happy to receive my first “You seem wonderful” from a woman I’d added to my favorites.
