I feel like Papuwa-chan would probably say this more bluntly, but if I may, let me offer my two cents. First of all, coming to the dating club interview together as friends was a mistake in itself. See? You’re already becoming suspicious, wondering, “What’s the difference between me and her? Is it just the interview and video process?” From here on, there will be plenty of opportunities for jealousy and resentment—over the number of offers you receive, the class of women you’re placed in, and what kind of papas you each meet. If neither of you received any offers, at least you wouldn’t need to compare the papas. Even then, though, you’d probably still end up thinking, “She says she hasn’t gotten any offers, but what if she actually has?” You should probably be prepared for the possibility that things may not work out between you and this friend going forward. I’m Maezawa from the president’s office, and I’ll answer this as well. There’s no particular difference in meaning or purpose. It probably just comes down to how each staff member films the interview videos. If a staff member thinks a one-question-one-answer format brings out a woman’s appeal more effectively, they’ll use that format. On the other hand, if they feel that having the woman speak on her own showcases her appeal better than including the staff member’s voice, the video will feature only the woman talking. Depending on the case, the video may also include her walking around or jumping.
