I also graduated from a high school that wasn’t particularly academically competitive, so I do think someone’s high school matters. The kind of life they led during those sensitive teenage years, the direction they put their efforts into, and what they were aiming for all come through, so it matters to me（笑）
That said, I don’t think there’s any need to go as far as falsifying it. I believe the person they are now is shaped by their past.
I think it’s best to look at what someone experienced during their high school years and what their high school was like.

That’s interesting. Is the high school someone attended really that important? Maybe it’s some kind of prestigious or special school.
Early in an arrangement, I don’t really want to share too much personal information, so I might be vague or throw in a few harmless fakes. But couldn’t it simply be something she mentioned in conversation at the time?
Actually, what kind of real harm is there if someone lies about the high school they attended in the first place?

I’ve met dozens of men through papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), but I’ve never come across anyone who was that hung up on something. Interesting. It sounds like their high school is still a source of identity for them. Maybe they didn’t get into the school they wanted.
