In my case, there are anniversary gifts and requests for presents. But lately, they’ve started to feel like a given, and the amounts keep getting higher, which is becoming a bit of an issue(笑)
I’m actually thinking of giving her a little “spanking” as a reminder(笑)

I’m not really the type to celebrate anniversaries, but I think things last because the papas and I happen to feel the same way about that kind of thing.
Like, “Oh, has it really been X years already?” The other day, a handsome papa I often mention in the answers said to me, “It’s already been over two years, and I’m still seeing the same woman without getting bored. What am I even doing? I never used to be like this.” Apparently, the time had just flown by. I told him, “Don’t get all serious on me, lol.”
If you want to know whether your papa is the type who likes celebrating anniversaries, just say, “It’s our anniversary!” and see how he reacts. If his response is lukewarm, trying to hint for a gift or allowance will only leave a bad impression, so it’s best to let it go.

I don’t think men are usually that interested in anniversaries, but if a woman says, “It’s our anniversary, so I’d like to spend the day together,” I think most men would be happy.
But if she starts asking for gifts or money, I feel like it would be a turnoff.
As I mentioned before, the only occasion when it’s okay to ask for something is a birthday. Christmas would probably be fine too, though.

Is asking for things all you can think about?
To receive, you have to give.
If you want something, I’d like you to first think about what you can offer the other person.
