I work a regular office job and do papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) on my days off to make life a little easier.
I’m starting to feel ready to get married, but is it possible to look for a partner and eventually get married while continuing papa-katsu?
Also, if I carry expensive designer bags or accessories during my search for a partner—things my papa (a male supporter) bought for me—would people suspect that I do papa-katsu? (I only graduated from high school, so my salary isn’t particularly high.)
The papa I met through the club supports me and says he hopes I can get married soon. When I told him I would like to end things once I get married, he said he understood.

If you want to marry an average man, I think you’re better off not wearing designer brands. Otherwise, people may assume you work in nightlife, do papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), or are simply not very bright and pour your entire paycheck into luxury goods.
Wanting to date ordinary men for marriage while also wanting to wear designer brands just doesn’t work. Good luck.

I think it’s possible.
That said, while you’re looking for a partner, you’ll need to be careful not to let the other person find out. Even women doing papa-katsu sometimes avoid wearing designer brands on dates, depending on who they’re meeting. Adjusting your behavior to suit the person you’re with is essential.
If you feel you’re not good at handling things that skillfully, I’d recommend stopping papa-katsu before starting your search for a spouse.
But if you already have a papa, I get the feeling you can probably manage that much.

From the papa’s side, I don’t see any problem with it.
But even if the man you’re seeing is the kind of person who wouldn’t want to marry a woman involved in papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), you still want to pursue both at the same time, right?

Our views on papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) and marriage hunting are pretty much the same.
In our case, we’ve agreed that once we’re getting close to the stage of preparing for marriage—or even when there are signs of that—we’ll end things. So our relationship will probably end a little earlier than yours（笑）
As for designer items, I think one or two should be fine. I feel it’s better to start wearing head-to-toe designer brands when you’re a bit older.
