As I’ve written before, I want the club to still be thriving ten years from now. So I focus my posts on encouraging the prospective members I have in mind to join—to make them want to become members. That’s why I believe that if people outside my target audience react negatively, it means my message is reaching the audience I intended.
For example:
When it comes to allowances, negotiating the terms in advance is considered important.
But if two people who genuinely like each other meet, they may naturally progress to an adult relationship without negotiating an allowance. If they’re compatible, the woman’s desired amount may change as a result, and there’s nothing strange about the man’s allowance changing based on how satisfied he is with their compatibility.
There are also men who, after being active for a while, come to prefer women who aren’t focused on their desired amount or allowance and who aren’t yet accustomed to the club.
I think the club is made up of people with all kinds of preferences and perspectives.

At a club that emphasizes efficiency, women newcomers may serve as useful references. But I imagine that few men would want to use the opinions of inexperienced male newcomers as a reference.

Please try to phrase it a little more clearly.
“Harsh answers” and “that isn’t a question” are two completely different matters, so what exactly are you trying to say by putting them on the same level?
If you meant, “They take a harsh approach to answering, but then criticize questioners for being too harsh”—that would make sense. It would be fair to say that their stance toward harshness is inconsistent.
But harsh answers and whether something qualifies as a question are entirely different issues.

I don’t think anyone gave a particularly witty answer. But first of all, what exactly is a “wet” answer supposed to be?
Even when I search for it, not much comes up. I found something along the lines of:

Maybe it isn’t a typo at all, but simply something you’ve misunderstood.
Perhaps you thought “wit” was spelled or pronounced “wet”?
Well, these things happen.
I myself spent years thinking that Kodak film called “Panatomic-X” was “Patnatomic-X” until I entered middle school, which was embarrassing.
When you have something fixed in your mind, you don’t notice it.
