I’m jealous that you can come to Tokyo anytime. Having plenty of time for dates is an advantage from a man’s perspective. I might be a little put off if you were unemployed and living solely off papa-katsu, but if the man is okay with it, that’s all that matters.

Come to think of it, a little while ago, a woman who lives outside Tokyo came to Tokyo for an interview.
She wanted offers in Tokyo, but she said that:
- She didn’t want to go on dates near where she lives.
- She spends about half of every month in Tokyo, staying at a friend’s place.
So, as an exceptional case, she was registered in Tokyo.
But that really was an exception. The key point was that she spends half the month—at least two weeks—in Tokyo. Basically, someone who doesn’t live in Tokyo can’t register there.
You’re automatically registered based on the address on your ID.
So if all you can say is, “I can come to Tokyo anytime as long as I get an offer,” even if you interview in Tokyo, you’ll be registered in Osaka.
If you absolutely want to register in Tokyo, you’d need to use a friend’s address and change your resident registration to Tokyo as well. You’d have to bring your driver’s license showing your Osaka address plus your residence certificate showing a Tokyo address, and say, “I’m living in Tokyo, although I haven’t updated my driver’s license yet.” Otherwise, you won’t be registered in Tokyo.
Apparently, if you look around, there are places where you can register your residence, but you never know how they might use your address, so I think it’s best to make friends in Tokyo.
Honestly, the best option seems to be actually moving to Tokyo.
If you were previously registered in Osaka, registering in Tokyo would probably give you more opportunities.

Even if you interview at a branch outside your area of residence, your registration will be handled by the branch responsible for your actual residence. That’s only natural.
You said you live in Osaka, but if a man in Tokyo makes you an offer, are you planning to go at your own expense, including the bullet-train fare and accommodations?
Even if you’re willing to cover those costs yourself, falsely reporting your place of residence will inconvenience both the club and the man making the offer, so please don’t do it.
