Whenever a woman changes her relationship type—not just from A to B—we do try to confirm it with her directly.
However, if she insists that’s really what she wants, there’s not much more we can do.

In the past, during interviews, we would try to dig deeper into how the woman really felt by asking things like, “Are you really sure Type A is okay?”
But now, if she says she’s Type A, we basically don’t say much beyond:
“Starting with Type A might be a good idea. You can always change it later.”
That’s because men complain when we get too involved. (笑)
As a result, there are many women who think, “The staff said Type A was fine, and I can change it later, so I’ll start with A.”
There also seem to be many women who think, “The staff said I could change it, so I’ll see how things go and switch to B if I don’t receive any offers.”
That said, even if the reason is that they weren’t getting offers, they’re still making the decision that dinner only may not be enough and that they’re willing to consider something beyond dinner, so I think it’s fine to make an offer assuming they’re Type B.
However, one thing to keep in mind is that if she has changed from A to B, the chances of an adult relationship on the second meeting are low.
You should probably plan things with the mindset that it may happen around the fourth meeting.
It’s fine to invite her from the second meeting onward (but don’t invite her on the first meeting).
I have a feeling the real opportunity will come on the third or fourth meeting.

If you were in the woman’s position, you wouldn’t change from Type A as long as you were receiving enough offers, right?
The staff also understand that this is why someone would change types. Since they probably feel that getting offers is what makes joining worthwhile in the first place, they’d likely want to help however they can. So I don’t think anyone can check things too strictly—which means it’s probably barely checked at all. They’re also generally welcoming of Type B and try to accommodate changing people to Type B whenever possible.
More than anything, I think they prioritize the individual’s own wishes. The same likely applies not only to changing to Type B, but also to Type C.
So I think it’s best to seek offers without getting your hopes too high.
