I’m a male member. If my profile is set to be visible only to women I send offers to, does Universe let them know that? I’m asking because several women have said they didn’t notice.

Are there really people who don’t notice the LINE message sent with an offer? I’m surprised. They must either be extremely absent-minded, too lazy to check it, or have looked at messages from several people, forgotten what they said, and pretended not to notice. Normally, the link is designed to be hard to miss. Marika

I’m Maezawa from the president’s office, and I’ll answer this as well. Sometimes we quietly set up individual recommendations when we feel that a woman may not be quite the right match for a particular man’s preferences—enough to recommend her specifically to him. If this happens, it means that, in the staff’s view, he’s a good man who hasn’t received any negative feedback from the women. It’s basically a “We hope he’ll make her an offer” kind of feeling. So if you happen to become interested in making him an offer, please let the staff know—even afterward. That way, they’ll learn what kind of women this man prefers and can introduce similar women to him in the future. Men wouldn’t want to be recommended just anyone and everyone, right? People’s preferences are complicated, so we do try to be considerate.

Yokoyama from the staff here. Basically, when an offer is sent publicly or to a limited audience, we send the profile along with it. However, we’ve been told that some women didn’t notice it, and we sincerely apologize. We’ll make sure nothing gets missed going forward. Thank you for your continued support.
