I’m a woman and passed the interview. It’s been a few days since I was able to log in to my member page, but my video and photos still haven’t appeared in the “New Women” section of the website. How long did it take for you to be listed?

Maezawa from the president’s office here—I’ll answer as well. > Videos and photos aren’t showing up in the “New Women” section of the website. They’re usually uploaded when the staff have some free time, so I think more than half of the women aren’t featured there. For the company, though, it’s meant to show men who aren’t members that new women are joining all the time. So staff have been instructed to upload them unless the women have declined. Recently, there was a period when no women from Tokyo were being featured, and the manager told us, “I know Tokyo is busy, but please make sure to upload them.” That may have just happened to be visible in Tokyo, but I think the same instruction was probably given to the other branches too. So, does that mean the women who aren’t featured now will be uploaded later? Most likely not. The reason is that we’ve recently started uploading short videos, but unless the woman agreed to have one taken during her interview, her face may appear in the footage, so we can’t upload it. In the first place, those photos and videos are mainly for men who aren’t members, so worrying about whether you’re featured there doesn’t have much impact on getting offers. Occasionally, a male member will ask us to find a particular woman, but I think that only happens with a handful of people. And sometimes they’ll look at her profile, feel disappointed, and decide not to make an offer. There are cases where a man notices a woman because her face isn’t visible and her legs look beautiful, but then decides not to make an offer after seeing her face. I can’t help thinking, “If you want someone with beautiful legs, why worry so much about her face?” But since men have to pay a setting fee, they apparently tend to be cautious about making offers.
