Is the “Would you like to come back?” email not sent to people who quit without ever receiving an offer? Is it sent out in order of the number of offers they received?

Before this new system was introduced, extracting that information was a hassle, after all… Also, it’s only been about a year since the new system was implemented. Even if they did extract that data, what would they do with people from before then? So I don’t think selection is based on the number of offers. That said, I don’t know exactly how they divide people up when sending these notices. They would probably tell me if I asked, but I don’t think I can disclose that here—and even if you knew, I don’t think it would really mean anything. In the first place, you can always re-register even if you don’t receive such a notice. You still have to go through screening when re-registering, regardless of whether you received an invitation. Nothing changes. I think you should simply apply to re-register. If you were worried about having to go through screening again, you would have been better off taking a leave of absence instead of closing your account. However, if you received even a single offer during your previous registration, it’s unlikely that you would be rejected when re-registering. I think you can apply with confidence.
