Thank you for your question.
I’m not sure how you know so much despite not being part of the company, but your explanation, Kazu, is exactly right.
The system has been changed so that:
- Questions appear immediately after being posted.
- Answers appear immediately after being submitted.
- Anything that violates the rules will be hidden.
Previously, even when someone answered quickly, there was often a delay before the answer appeared, which was inconvenient. From now on, posts will appear instantly, so I think everyone will be happier.
That said, the system operates on the assumption that people are basically good, so please keep that in mind.

Perhaps because some people were complaining that their questions weren’t being posted, or to reduce the staff’s workload, it seems questions are now displayed immediately after being submitted.
Answers, however, aren’t displayed right away, so even when someone has written an answer, it remains hidden until staff approve it. This leaves only the question visible, showing zero answers.
It seems date reviews are also posted automatically once you submit the survey and agree to publication, so perhaps this is part of the same trend.
Speaking of date reviews, there was once feedback posted saying that someone “smokes marijuana.” If similarly questionable content keeps being submitted as questions, they might revert the feature that automatically displays questions.
Update: It seems answers have also started being published immediately as of this evening.
