I understand that male Black members get priority access to new women’s profiles, but does the priority period start from the day the club tells the woman that her profile page is ready, and last for a few days?

Maezawa from the president’s office here—I’ll answer as well. Thank you for your question. I think it’s best to understand it as meaning you may receive priority introductions. Once a profile is registered, all male members can view it at the same time, regardless of their class. So it’s not that Black-class members get to see profiles first. With priority introductions, for example, a man might tell the staff, “I prefer this type of woman, so please let me know if someone like that comes in.” Then, when a woman matching that description comes in for an interview, he may receive a message like: “A woman you mentioned has come in for an interview. She hasn’t registered yet, but would you like to make her an offer?” In other words, you may be able to make an offer before she registers. That said, I don’t think “priority” means you get to see absolutely everything first. I’m not fully sure how things have changed following the recent internal organizational changes. I believe the basic system is still the same, but there may be some differences, so I recommend asking the staff directly.

I’m a male member, and my handle is Paper Airplane. I think they probably introduce women who seem similar to those from past offers. After being shown to me early, some are uploaded within five or six days, while others take a month or two—or may not be uploaded at all. Once I make an offer, it often takes considerably longer. They’re Type B, but if there’s a risk that they’re actually Type A or misrepresenting their type, they seem to be sent around like a trial balloon… (Though I don’t really mind that either.)

I’m Kazu, a male member. When they say you can view new female members’ profiles first, it’s based on individual outreach. Before the profiles are made public, they’ll contact you with something like, “A woman who seems like she’d be interested to you came in for an interview!” I prefer to review a profile before making an offer, so I ask them to send me the link once the profile page is ready. Usually, the profile page is created and I receive the link the day after they contact me. I’m not sure when they notify the women that their profiles have been registered, but it seems they make them publicly available the day after the individual outreach. Also, since this is individual outreach, it doesn’t seem like every female member gets introduced. I assume it only happens when a staff member has an idea—probably for women whose interviews revealed some distinctive quality that might appeal to a particular male member.
