Regarding the issue of “not receiving any offers at all,” I asked the SALON staff about it: Maezawa: Why aren’t some women receiving offers? SALON: We believe it’s because they don’t match the men’s requirements and preferences. Maezawa: Roughly what percentage of women receive no offers at all after registering? SALON: It used to be about half, but now we try to arrange meetings once a woman is accepted, so it’s currently around 20%. Maezawa: Can women who haven’t received any offers revisit SALON and appeal to the staff? SALON: We’d definitely like them to come back. So, please contact SALON, revisit them, and try to highlight your strengths. When contacting them, something like, “I have something I’d like to discuss. Would it be okay if I came by?” would probably work well. Someone mentioned in a recent answer that the limit on the number of people may already have been lifted, and the salon’s operating policies may be changing as well. Whenever possible, I’d rather not make offers to women seeking someone high-spec, and I’d also prefer to avoid relying on my own high specs as a last resort. That naturally limits the number of options, but it doesn’t necessarily increase the odds of finding a good match either… Perhaps you should consider whether you’re looking specifically for a high-spec man or simply a good man, and choose the direction that gives you better chances.
