Christmas falls on a weekday this year. How will everyone be spending it? I’m getting tired of the same old routine of exchanging gifts, dressing up in cosplay, and having sex, so I’d love to hear about your wonderful ways of spending Christmas for inspiration. Thank you in advance.

I’m a column writer who goes by Flagmaker. If I happen to have someone I’m seeing at the time, I’ll suggest celebrating Christmas at a love hotel or somewhere similar. Then I’ll say, “To get us in the mood, I’ll put on Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ as background music.” Once the song starts playing, I suddenly start singing along myself. It’s the kind of moment that makes them think, “Wait, you’re the one singing it?!” Not once has a woman ever called me out on it, though. I honestly can’t tell whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing—or whether they’re enjoying it or not. (^_^;)

I’m Kazu, a male member. I occasionally do something different from my usual routine anyway, so I don’t make any special plans just because it’s Christmas. If I were celebrating the birth of Christ, I’d like to attend Mass in a beautiful church. If the conversation turned to going to the Vatican for Christmas Mass or visiting a Christmas market in Germany, I’d be all for it and start planning the itinerary—but that won’t be possible this year.
