If a male member goes on “inactive” status, does he not have to pay the renewal fee during that time?

(lol) A little while ago, we discovered that different branches were handling things differently, and there was a bit of a “Wasn’t our way the correct one?” situation on both sides. After that, I believe the policy was standardized. Even if you put your membership on hold, nothing changes. It’s essentially the same as simply not making any offers. At least, that’s how I understand it.
