Some time ago, I deliberately sought out someone listed as an E-type and met with her. I was registered in Tokyo, while she was from the Kansai area.

Type E used to mean the highest level of eagerness. They were more proactive than both C and D.
But people started saying, “Isn’t that a little unlike a dating club?” So after Type E was discontinued, the current meaning was introduced.
It means that transportation expenses for the first dinner aren’t necessary.
However, rather than focusing on transportation costs, it’s intended for people who want to hear about the gentlemen registered with Universe Club and meet men from a world they’re unfamiliar with.
At least, that’s how it’s supposed to be chosen.
But hardly anyone selects it, and I feel that most men barely look at it either.
